Remote Combo Spray Trainer System
After using this product for several weeks, my dog, 2 year old Golden, has been able to check his behavior with only the beep warning. He used to get into a frenzy barking at passing dogs. I only used the spray twice after giving him the beep warning. Now he either wags his tail when people and dogs pass our fence, gives a small "woof" (both of these w/o the beep warning), or if he barks, I give the warning beep and he stops. After solving this one problem, I now use the beep if he pulls leash on a walk, or other unwanted behavior. All it takes is the warning beep and he checks his behavior. No more yelling. Very peaceful. I don't, however, use the positive tone on the side of this device. I give verbal praise.

To give fair warning, I have quite a bit to say about this product, so this will be a long review. I've been using the collar for only 2 days now and I'm pleased to say that my 17 month bulldog/border collie mix is already like a new (and very improved) dog!!! My little girl is incredibly sweet, but also crazy energetic, smart, extremely excitable (squirrel?!?!), and has the willpower of a mule. Initially I was skeptical about the product, but I didn't want to go for the shock collar, as I feel it is less humane. My dog didn't respond to being sprayed with a water bottle (she thought that was just a fun game!), so I was concerned that this collar might not work for her, however, it's working absolute wonders!! We have worked with her on training for months now, and she understands what she needs to do most of the time, however, if she is too excited, she just doesn't listen to my commands. She learned almost immediately that the beep on this collar means a spray will follow if she doesn't listen, and I've found that a beep is usually all it takes to get her attention. Our first walking experience started off a little rough and when I beeped her for pulling on her leash, she would try to run. It took her a little time to understand that if she didn't pull she was rewarded with praise and treats and not beeped or sprayed. Our second walk, today, was like a dream. She understood, and she heeled perfectly by my side for the entire hour long walk!! It was fantastic! We had tried every harness, head halter, and collar out there for walking. Now we finally have our answer! We are also using the collar to train her to stop jumping on furniture, and people, and stop raising a ruckus in the back yard. Last night we had guests over and as soon as she jumped, I beeped her, and she instantly stopped. I can't tell you what a huge relief it is that I can now easily stop her from jumping on people when they walk in the door. Before we tried everything, if you tried blocking her jump with your knee, she just thought it was all part of the fun and it was time to wrestle. Now when she hears the beep, she understands, it's time to behave!! This is an incredible product, and if you have a stubborn dog, but don't want to use a shock collar, give this a try. It will do wonders for you and your dog.
Also just a couple of tips - timing is key - you must beep right at the moment of bad behavior so your dog understands what they are doing wrong. If they don't respond to the beep, follow with a spray. Additionally, I use my voice and give a stern, "Ahhhh" sound just before beeping. I'm finding that my dog is now taking the sound of my voice more seriously, as she knows what comes next, if she doesn't. This is very helpful for training, as you may not always have the remote in your hand at the moment you may need it. I find that she doesn't seem to like the "positive" beep sound either, so rather than trying to train her to understand that it's a "good" sound, vs the "bad" beep, I just use my voice to praise her and give her treats when she is being good, and don't use the "positive" beep function at all.
My only reservation about this product is that I have concerns that she may get used to it, and stop responding this well. I will post another update later if that happens. For now, I am thrilled with it. Thanks for a fantastic training tool!!!

This product was exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted something that would allow my dog to be off leash in our un-fenced back yard but would stop him from chasing small wildlife into other yards. I have only used this product for two weeks but so far it has worked perfectly. It is a nice alternative to the shock collars. Most of the time my dog responds to the negative tone but the spray stops him in mid chase and he comes right back to me.

Great Product, Good Conscience
I am very happy with this collar. I was frustrated by my dog's barking at people who walked by my house, but was totally opposed to e-collar options.
I first purchased the spray collar that automatically sprayed when the dog barks. I would NOT recommend that collar for a myriad of reasons, including: sprays with grunts and playful noises made by the dog, not just barks; sprays when other dogs bark; sprays when dog is "acceptably barking," such as a single bark when at the door to come in; and my dog was extremely fearful of the spray - she would shake and be unwilling to move away from me, after being sprayed.
With this collar, you are able to fully control how and when the dog is corrected. For the first few weeks, I put the collar on my dog, with the power off, and gave lots of praise, play, and treats, to retrain her away from being fearful of it. After that, I started using the warning tones. I have never once had to use the spray - the warning tone was more than adequate to stop the barking immediately.
After fully utilizing the collar for a few weeks now, I've noticed that I rarely have to use the warning tone. My dog has clearly learned, through the tone alone, that the barking behavior was negative behavior and that, by not barking, she gets lots of praise.
Highly, highly recommended for anyone who is concerned about e-collars and/or has a "sensitive" dog. I also love that it's waterproof - I was skeptical, but so far, it's come out of lake swims without issue. My only criticism is the buckle/clip combo. The clip is convenient but the combo is sort of clumsy.
