Parrot Pinata Mini 6"
Our Conure's Favorite
I bought the first of these on-line & thought I had miscalculated the size when we received it but our determined dusky headed conure more than made due. He loved to back himself into it & would sleep that way rod straight. Later on he would tear out the top & perch himself there for most of a day.
We probably go thru one of these every couple of months & it is the one thing that always remains in the cage, honestly, I don’t think our bird would stay there if it weren’t.

What a Great Toy!
My Greenwing Macaw, Carmella, destroys $100 toys in less than a week. Not to mention all she eats, God bless her. Anyway, these toys are relatively inexpensive and she chews and destroys these Piñatas all day long. They last an average of 4-6 weeks and she absolutely loves them. She still enjoys (read as destroys) the wooden toys, but this gives us a little financial break. I'd highly recommend them to anyone with a large, destructive beak!

When my birds need to expend some energy this is what they turn to.
I have a citron and galerita cockatoo. I can't always have them out together because they get too wild. During those in between times when they are out on their own they need some way to vent some of their energy. Instead of getting rowdy with us we taught them to stay on their cage to chew or search the room for their piñatas. The way they act you would think it was all their idea but we don't care as long as they are happy. We change it's location daily so they won't get bored. We make it a game to keep them distracted. My cockatoos are extremely energetic so we need all the help we can get. We have been using the piñatas for a very long time. My boys play with lots of other toys but they always go right back to the piñatas.

a great shredding toy for male & female parrots
My parrots seem to enjoy this particular pinata when they need to have cage time. The pinata isn't the easiest to shred apart and can last quite a while. The toy seems very safe; I have not noticed any problems with it.
