How this product should be used: Frontline Plus for use on cats and kittens 8 weeks or older. Place the applicator tip through animal's hair to the skin level between the shoulder blades. Apply the entire contents of the applicator in a single spot to the animal's skin. Use only one applicator per treatment. Do not reapply for 30 days.

What are the side effects: Pets may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application. If signs persist or become more severe within a few days of application, consult a veterinarian immediately.

Precautions: This product is for external use only on cats and kittens. Consult a veterinarian before using on medicated animals, animals using this product with other pesticides, and debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing animals. This product is harmful to humans if swallowed. Call a physician or poison control center. Drink 1 or 2 glasses of water and induce vomiting unless patient is unconscious. This product can cause eye injury. Flush eyes with plenty of water. Call a physician if irritation persists. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling.

In the event of overdose: Contact your veterinarian or veterinary emergency room.

How should I store this product: Store this product at room temperature. Store in the original container only. To dispose wrap original container in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

A.	Fipronil, an active ingredient of FRONTLINE, works by blocking stabilizing ions in the neurons of invertebrates like fleas. Without the stabilizing ions, the fleas die from hyperstimulation. This means that the fleas may become slightly more active just before they die. However, you should rest assure that this is a sign that FRONTLINE is working.

Front Line flea and tick for cats I have never had a problem with ticks until this spring. I have 3 cats, 2 which are inside/outside cats. One night I found 10 ticks inside the house on the carpet and on them. have always used Advantage II for fleas, but thought I needed something stronger. Within two days I have not seen any ticks inside the house or on the cats. Hate ticks and fleas! Just wish the meds weren't so expensive but don't want this problem anymore. Thanks. May 14, 2013
