Wonderful product!
I had an old buckle-type harness that fit my young Maine Coon wonderfully, but it took 10 minutes and much fuming to get it on. This one is wonderful. Very easy to put on, adjustable, and secure. Toby didn't object to it one bit. So glad I bought this product!

Seems to work well
I have two 5 month old kittens that I am gradually introducing to the 'outside' world.
The halters fit snugly, and after initially trying to get out of them while in the house, they finally accepted. I now just put the halters on when I take them out on the back deck. I want them to associate 'outside' with the halters and leashes.
They do not try to escape, though we have not encountered in sudden noises that might frighten them.
As they get older, I'll transition them to collars and only use the halters when we travel.

very pleased...
I adopted an 8 month old rescue cat raised indoors by a foster family. Read extensive commentary on this site and others about the best harness to buy and settled on the Lupine H-style. Though my vet sold Lupine, they did not carry the H-style and their leashes were only 4' so was pleased to find what I wanted on Foster & Smith. The first session of harness training was akin to a wild west rodeo--just getting it on was like steer wrestling with claws and teeth everywhere as though this was a great roughhousing game. Once on, it was like watching a bucking bronco tearing around the house. Admittedly, I was not experienced in the safety latches; they are small and take some practice to work. Sizing it while it was on him was a non-conversation so had to do adjustments in between sessions until I finally got it right. But with much practice on my part to improve my skill with the latches, and patience and maturity on his part--getting it on him is no longer an olympic event. Today we went outside for the first time and it was wonderful--well worth the time and effort invested over the past month knowing he was secure in a new experience..

Safe and secure and easy to put on.
Purchased the harness and lead for my 10 year old cat and 9 month old kitten who are/were inside only pets. The harness is so easy to put on - put it in place, bring one end around their neck and snap it shut then do the same for the band that goes around the chest. The snaps are strong and fasten securely - when you hear the "click" you know you're good to go. We live near a very busy highway so I needed a harness they could not wiggle out of and these harnesses have proven to be very safe. My kitten didn't like the harness at first and kept trying to get out of it - even sliding up against walls and rolling on the floor to try to get it off. Happily the harness held her securely and she soon got used to it; now she looks forward to it because she knows it means she gets to go outside. The lead is just the right length - let's them have a little room and keeps them close enough that I can reach down and scoop them up if need be. I would not trust them outside on their own but with this harness and leash we can safely sit on our back porch and they can explore all the smells in the grass and on the wind. Also, I like that the birds who frequently visit my yard are not in any danger from my girls.
