Will they hold up if in a car accident?
The amount of force the Vehicle Barrier can withstand in a car accident depends on the weight of the dog and the force at which he falls into the barrier. It is always in the best interest of both you and your pet to have your pet restrained while in a vehicle.

Will Pet Vehicle Barriers work with bucket seats?
Yes, the Pet Barrier will work with bucket seats. Make sure that you purchase either the Vehicle Barrier/Door or purchase the Barrier w/Combo Legs and add the extension panel. Without the extension panel, your pet will be able to slide under the Barrier w/Combo when used with bucket seats.
