Exactly what I wanted
The squirrels are mad but the birds are happy. The feeder arrived in great condition. The price was lower than most pet stores in my area.

This is an excellent feeder.
I bought this for my mom for Christmas. So far, the birds love it. Don't worry about the cage around it; birds simply go between the bars. The feeder came right on time.

It works!
The Squirrelproof Cage Seed Feeder from Doctors Foster and Smith does exactly what it says it will do and more. Squirrels no longer even try to get to the black oil sunflower seeds in this feeder. They have given up. For me, the best part is that the ever-present grackles are deterred from the cage, and at last the smaller birds have a chance at enjoying the bird food put out for them. The main drawback is that its popularity means I have to fill it each day. A larger version might be a plus energy-wise.

Polycarbonate seed tube features four heavy-duty metal feed ports with perches and can be completely removed for cleaning and filling.
