by Lovebird Great but be careful!
This is good nesting material but you have to be careful. Make sure the nesting material is not too long. The only ones that breed are Zebra Finches (a lot); Society finches and Spice Finches and African Silver Bills we have mate but don't breed like the Zebra Finches. They all love to nest build. I have to be very careful with the nesting material. I've had times where the birds have had their claws get caught in the nesting material.
When I use it, I make sure it is cut short and not too long. Birds can get caught easy. It's a great nesting material. Just be careful. If the nesting material is cotton, I'll put it apart, if it is string, I'll cut it so they can't get caught.
