What an ingenius invention
Love it!! We have a 2000 gal pond in Wisconsin.
We've used this pond breather for 3 years now and have never had an issue with it. It has never failed, even during our -20F WI evenings, and how can one complain about just 40 watts. That's less than $10. of electricity to run this device for the entire winter season. The fish thrive well through the winter. It's a great product. It's a weird looking device when not in the water, but it works great!!

Outstanding product.
This is the first winter I left my fish in the pond and I was more than impressed with the job the pond breather did. I live in MA and for the most part of January two feet of snow covered the top of the pond breather and I was sure the fish would never survive. By early Feb. a small hole appeared in the snow and when the ice and snow left finally in March all the fish made an appearance and seemed very happy to see the light of day. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone in the colder climates.

Excellent little winter pond saver
I was a bit skeptic when I first started to use this little device, but it really really works well. Last year was my first year and we got over -15, all was well in the spring, Koi looked happy and hungry.
This winter we hit -20 and continue to get very cold temps in Colorado. The Pond Breather works well, even after ice piles up around it, the water continues to perculate. I also have small surface heater where I peak in on my koi and so far so good.
This is well worth the money for any pond size in even some of the most severe winter weather.
