Repel-X® Fly Spray and Lotion by Farnam

Smart horse insect control formulas let you choose the protection you need. Simply spray or wipe the economically-priced solution onto your horse for up to five days of protection. Helps control insects that spread West Nile Virus, Lyme disease, equine encephalitis, and other diseases. Dilute Repel-X® Concentrates in two ways to target a range of insects. Use 1 part solution to 7 parts water to kill and repel house and horn flies, as well as mosquitoes and gnats. Or mix 1 part solution to 4 parts water to also kill ticks and horse, deer, and stable flies. Reapply every 3 to 5 days (lotion 5-7 days). Contains 0.6% natural pyrethrins. For horses and ponies only.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this Product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Note: FOR USE ONLY ON HORSES AND PONIES

1. Shake well before using.
2. Mix REPEL-X Emulsifiable Fly Spray with water at proper dilution.
3. First put the required amount into sprayer or mixing container.
4. Then add water according to directions and mix thoroughly before using.
5. IMPORTANT: Mix fresh solution before each use. Apply with pressure sprayer or you can sponge it on horses. Make sure animal's coat is thoroughly wet. Use approximately 8 oz. for each animal depending on size of horse or pony. Avoid getting solution into the animal's eyes. HORSES: To protect horses from horn flies, house flies, gnats and mosquitoes, apply at a 1 to 7 dilution. Each pint of concentrate makes a gallon of finished spray. Repeat application every 3 to 4 days, or as often as needed. Where horse flies, deer flies (tabanids), stable flies, ticks, or deer ticks, that may transmit Lyme Disease, are a problem, apply a 1 to 4 dilution and repeat as often as needed.

Repel-X® Ready-To-Use Spray:

USE FULL STRENGTH. This non-oily insecticide repellent may be applied with a trigger spray applicator or as a wipe. Kills and repels stable flies, horse flies, face flies, deer flies, house flies, horn flies, mosquitoes, gnats, ticks, fleas, chiggers and lice. Do not use on foals under 3 months of age.

WIPE-ON USE: Thoroughly brush horse to remove excess dirt and dust. Extremely dirty horses should be shampooed, rinsed and allowed to dry before applying wipe. Use a sponge or clean soft cloth or mitt. Apply liberally over areas to be protected. Pay special attention to legs, belly, shoulders, neck, and facial areas. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes.

TRIGGER SPRAY USE: Remove excess dirt and dust. Apply light spray mist to coat while brushing lightly against lay of the hair. Avoid spray in eyes and mucous membranes. Apply with sponge or cloth to those areas.

Repeat treatment daily or at intervals needed to give adequate protection. Not for use on humans. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed through skin. Avoid breathing spray mist. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

Repel-X® Lotion

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not use on horses intended for human consumption. To protect horses from house flies, face flies, horn flies, stable flies, black flies, horse flies, deer flies, lice and ticks and from biting gnats such as punkies and no-see-ums: thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application to remove loose dirt and debris. For best results shampoo and rinse; wait until coat is completely dry and apply Repel-X® Fly Repellent for Horses and Ponies. Using protective gloves or mitt, apply a light film of two to four fluid ounces (60-120 ml) over horse's entire body, or spot treat areas of the horse where flies gather. May be applied around superficial wounds and abrasions. Avoid direct application to eyes, nose and mouth. Repeat application as necessary but no more often than once every 5 to 7 days. Wash hands with soap and water after use.
