Excellent trap for those pesky biting stable flies
Excellent trap at a great price.
I have had great sucess setting the traps next to blue plastic barrels. Stable flies are attracted to dark colors and I have found I actually catch more flies in the Bite Free trap when placed next to a barrel than when used alone.

Excellent for catching ankle biting flies
Tried two of these - they worked so well that we bought three more. We used one outside near a place where the horses stand in the heat of the day. Since they will sit on the floor, we can set them in the empty stalls and move them out when the horses come in. We put a battery operated light in the middle in an effort to attract more flies. The flies are more attacted to this light trap than the other yellow traps that I bought at the same time.
