Rated 4 out of 5 by Jasmine4 not entirely squirrel-proof
I've had this feeder for a few years. I hang it off my deck. The squirrels can't get to it from above, but a few do jump from my deck onto the catch tray. They've chewed and pull out the flip port covers (they're plastic) which then allows the seed to pour out into the tray. I've been able to put the flip ports back, but they are damaged. Squirrels are clever determined little buggers. If you can hang the feeder where they can't jump onto the feeder, it's a great buy.

Like this feeder very much, had one before but in a silver finish...replaced recently due to bear damage....However, two of the flip guards for selecting seed type were missing from the product. Hopefully I can get these replaced.

The feed itself is good because it can hold different types of bird food, but the tray that is underneath is horrible. We use sunflower seeds but the empty shell fills up the lower tray and you constantly have to clean. What a pain...

Rated 3 out of 5 by StriderMom Attractive and holds large quantity of seed
This feeder is very attractive and holds a lot of seed. The ability to offer different types of seeds in a smaller area is a big plus. I don't recommend this feeder, however, unless you are absolutely positive that squirrels will not be able to gain access to it. I had a squirrel get onto it, despite the baffles, and destroyed this feeder because the ports are plastic. Once the ports were chewed, the feeder was useless because as soon as you put food in the tubes it pours out onto the ground. This feeder is too expensive to have it so easily destroyed. The manufacturer should make the ports all metal.
